Your drink diary, in your own words.

Log drinks by voice on iPhone. Describe your day, review the extracted drinks and save a check-in to your MeSober alcohol diary.

Start with a sentence

Typing every drink can make a diary feel like work. A voice check-in lets you describe your day naturally, then turn that description into a record you can review.

Review before you save

Open a voice check-in and describe what you drank. MeSober processes the transcript into a draft. Check the drinks and amounts, correct anything that is wrong and confirm the result. Speech and extraction can make mistakes; you stay in control of the entry.

Keep the same diary across your routines

Voice is one way to log, not a separate diary. Your confirmed entry appears in the same calendar as manual check-ins. You can also use Siri and the widget for quick entries. Transcripts may be processed by the backend; read the privacy policy for details.

Fair questions.

Short, honest answers to the things people actually ask.

Is MeSober free?

Yes. No subscription, ads or required signup.

Where are my entries stored?

On your device, with optional sync through your iCloud. See the privacy policy for details.

What is an alcohol unit?

A UK unit is 10 ml of pure alcohol, about 8 g. MeSober uses that calculation. A glass and a unit are different things.

Why does Spain show a different number?

A Spanish UBE is 10 g of alcohol; a US standard drink is 14 g. It is the same drink measured with different units.

How much alcohol is in a glass of wine?

That depends on its size and strength. For example, 175 ml at 13% is 2.275 UK units. Enter your pour in the calculator.

Can a voice entry be wrong?

Yes. Review the drinks and quantities before saving. Recognition helps; you decide the final entry.

Does the calculator store my inputs?

No. Values stay in the current tab, are not sent to a server and are not included in analytics.

Is this a medical app?

No. It is a diary and tools for understanding your habits. It does not diagnose or replace a clinician.
